How it works
Groq or local, automatic language detection, Portuguese or English, and whether you want a summary. With no options set, it defaults to Groq and detects the language on its own.
From a YouTube link, an Instagram link, other platforms, or a video already on your computer, sized to whatever the API accepts.
Measures the duration, factors in Groq's hourly quota, cuts at the right point, and saves where to pick back up when the video runs past the quota.
Timestamped text, SRT captions, and the full result all in the same folder, falling back to local Whisper whenever Groq isn't available.
Reads the whole transcript and writes the summary in the video's own language, with the main points and the takeaway.
Before you buy
In local mode, the time it takes depends on your machine, and on an average computer a long video takes a while.
Its limits
The skill works from the audio: slides, on-screen text, and anything shown but not spoken don't make it into the transcript.
Audio quality drives text quality. With background noise, loud music, or several people talking at once, it makes more mistakes, and it doesn't tell speakers apart.
A private video or one that requires login only downloads using cookies from your own account, and respecting the platform's terms and the recorder's rights is on whoever uses it.
